MORE THAN JUST HELPING PEOPLE SEE, PYCRAFT FAMILY EYECARE

Dr Scott Pycraft, 106 N Main, Orrville, OH

Dr. Scott Pycraft was exposed to optometry from a very young age. His father, Ron Pycraft OD, was a local optometrist until retiring in 2005.  

“Quality eye care is so much more than just helping people see,” remarked Pycraft at the private ribbon cutting ceremony coordinated by the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce on July 22. Orrville Mayor Dave Handwerk joined Lori Reinbolt, Chamber president, to safely welcome Pycraft and his family to the community. 

Pycraft, a graduate of Wooster High School and Ohio Wesleyan University completed his training at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2011. He began seeing patients in Wooster in 2012. 

Pycraft’s passion for providing the highest quality of eye care brought him to open a second location, 106 N Main, Orrville.  

“Orrville has consistently been a tight knit community that I have always admired,” stated Pycraft. “ I have really enjoyed the wonderful stories and experiences that people have shared about Dr. Michael Guster. My goal is to carry on his legacy and maintain the high level of care that the people in this community deserve.”

Pycraft is a proud participant in Infant See, a program designed to give a free exam to infants under the age of one. He is also a presenter for the Realeyes program, which educates school children on the importance of eye health.
