Certified Manufacturing Associate

Aspire at Wayne County Schools Career Center- will be offering a Certified Manufacturing Associate credential at no cost to you. This course is open to adults with a desire to build a comprehensive foundation of knowledge for a successful career in manufacturing.

This program introduces basic concepts in the areas needed for a career in Manufacturing. Content will include introductions to: additive manufacturing, blueprint reading, CNC, lean processes, math fundamentals, measurement and inspection, quality, robotics, and safety & troubleshooting.

Adults enrolling in this free course will have the opportunity to improve basic math skills while learning about the manufacturing industry. There are no prerequisites for this course or minimum education requirements prior to enrollment.

Registration is now open for the first cohort. Classes will be held 2:30-4:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays at WCSCC from February 22-June 8.
