Hershey Recognized as NOACC Bright Star
Dave Hershey and wife Tammy enjoyed an "Evening with the Stars"
The Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) held their 13th Annual Bright Star Awards, October 28 at Signature of Solon. Dave Hershey and wife, Tammy, enjoyed an “Evening with the Stars” to recognize his selection as a 2020 Chamber Bright Star.
Hershey was nominated for the honor by the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce for providing catalytic leadership as Chairman of the Board during a most challenging year, 2020. During Hershey’s tenure, the Chamber delivered a hybrid Annual Awards Celebration and livestreamed the State of the Chamber Address for the first time. However, Hershey’s most notable accomplishment was leading the Membership Investment Taskforce to transition from a fair share membership model to a resource based membership model. The new model was successfully implemented in 2021.
Hershey will be featured in the November issue of Cleveland Magazine along with other Chamber Bright Stars from throughout Northern Ohio.
