J. Ritchie CPA Makes Everyone Feel Like Somebody in New Location

A leap of faith nearly three years ago launched J Ritchie CPA. Jonna Ritchie’s decision to go out on her own was rooted in her mission, “To provide courteous, professional, and timely individual and business services to each of our customers to meet their deadlines and objectives. To build long-term relationships with our customers and ensure each one is satisfied.” 

On November 18th, J. Ritchie CPA held and open house and ribbon cutting to commemorate the move to 220 N Portage Street, Doylestown. 

Previously located on Collier Drive, Doylestown, Ritchie quickly filled the small office by hiring a part-time employee just six months after starting the business. Before the first year was complete, she acquired an additional office space on Collier. 

In spring 2021, it became apparent there would be no available space on Collier Drive for expansion and the search for different space began. After many walkthroughs and much collaboration with Ritchie’s husband, they targeted 220 N Portage St, Doylestown as the new home of J Ritchie CPA. 

The business relocated to the new space on July 15, 2021 and have much room for growth. The team has grown to four staff on-site, including Ritchie, and additional resources working remotely.  

 “We love being more visible and enjoy being part of the community here” Ritchie said. 



Ritchie has more than 25 years’ experience spanning public accounting, banking, and industry areas with small to multinational sized companies. Ritchie earned her accounting degree and master’s in Taxation at the University of Akron. 

“We serve individuals and small to mid-sized businesses by providing tax preparation and filing, bookkeeping, tax consulting, payroll, business consulting and notary services” said Ritchie. “Our motto is be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” 

Ritchie went on to say “we aren't stuffy. We are regular people with strong expertise in tax and accounting. We find that most people are intimidated by these areas and we help ease their minds while working with them to achieve their goals. We find many small business owners are great at what they do but often not so good with the backend office work. We are here to help.”
