MEMBER MONDAY: ORRVILLE AREA BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

“Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.” 

Annual fundraisers are held to keep cost low to the members and maintain operational costs. The newest fundraiser has finally come to fruition after a couple years of planning. A plot of land on Deer Creek Circle was donated to the organization a few years ago with the hopes to build a “Dream Home” and sell as a fundraiser. 

Working closely with MD Custom Builders over the past year, a floorplan was selected and the process to ask for donations of materials began. After months of hard work and community support the home is complete and will be featured in The Home Builders Association of Wayne & Holmes Counties, Parade of Homes September 20-22 and Sept 27-29. 

The beautiful open floor plan home is a 1,674 sqft ranch with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Designed with custom cabinetry throughout, a cathedral ceiling in the living room with a gas fireplace, master suite, first floor laundry and an attached 2 car garage, this house is an in-demand style in the area. 

Following the Parade of Homes, the OABGC Dream Home will be available for purchase. 

The Chamber is excited to work closely with OABGC to provide fellow members a chance to view the home during our monthly C3 on Friday September 20th from 7:15 am – 8:45 am.

Tickets to enter each home in the Parade are only $5 and can be purchased at any of the homes on display during the Parade beginning on Friday, September 20 at 5 pm.
