Team Moog Wins 2023 Orrville Area Chamber Golf Scramble

Riceland Golf Course welcomed 96 golfers for the Orrville Area Chamber’s Annual Golf Scramble, sponsored by Red Circle Sponsor Serpentini of Orrville, on September 20. Black Circle sponsors were Bargain Hunter, Hummel, and The J.M. Smucker Company. 

Coming in first place was Team Moog, consisting of Patrick Altof, Mark Odabashian, Benjamin Petitti, and Bryan Troyer.

“The Orrville Area Chamber Golf Outing is always a great event. This year was no different. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the golf course was in great shape! Thank you to Dan and Landre at the Chamber office and all the volunteers that helped support the event. We are already looking forward to next year’s outing,” said Troyer.



Finishing second was Team Hummel and third place was Team Silver Dollar Sportsman’s Club.

Eighteen teams competed in the Skins game. Tying for the win was Team Moog and Team Orrville Utilities. Each team won $360.

Participants began their day with a lunch prepared by Riceland Golf Course that was generously sponsored by Lehman’s and Ventrac. 

McElroy Packaging and Weaver Commercial Contractors sponsored the beverage carts that were driven by volunteers from Serpentini of Orrville and Make the Impact.

Other member companies serving as volunteers included Hummel, Jarrett, Lorson Financial, Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club, The Apple Creek Banking Company, The J.M. Smucker Company, The Will-Burt Company, and Tri County ESC.

Following play, golfers enjoyed a catered dinner by Old Carolina Barbeque. Door prizes were donated by Chamber members, including a 50” television donated by Richard Lewin, President of The Will-Burt Company.
