Introducing Junipers

Landre McCloud • May 01, 2023

Sayre Hospitality Group took over operational control of the culinary kitchen at The Pines Event Center and restaurant in November 2022. While the business is still owned by the Wenger Family, the Sayre Hospitality Group, owned by Sue Sayre and her son, Brian, renovated the restaurant, and renamed it Junipers. The event center is now called White Oak and renovations will begin this summer.

“The Wenger Family and the current staff at The Pines Golf Club have been extremely gracious and kind as we navigated through the renovations and rebranding of the restaurant and event center,” said Kimberly Siracuse, Director of Human Resources and Client Services for Sayre Hospitality Group.

The staff at Junipers will offer guests a warm and welcoming place to gather and enjoy great food in a beautiful setting. “We want Junipers to be a backdrop for people as they create memories with friends and family,” Siracuse stated.

The menu has an eclectic flare with offerings from burgers to steak and seafood, as well as some of Village Catering’s signature items.

“Our entire staff, under the onsite leadership of General Manager Tracy Townsend, is outstanding. Our culinary team, wait staff, bartenders, dishwashers, prep team and hostesses have worked tirelessly to make this venture a success. And the work environment is fantastic. Brian (Sayre) encourages everyone to think outside of the box and be willing to try something new,” Siracuse said.

The lounge area within the restaurant, affectionately referred to as “Caddy Corner”, is the perfect setting to enjoy drinks and appetizers.
